Back again!!! After resolving (I think) the flywheel problem, I am tooling right along, muffler crackling, engine humming (somewhat), and about 4 miles from home I look in my rear view mirror. ARGH!!

Anyone have a detailed procedure for thrust bearing pegging or even better some I have then engine out on my 1500 and want to check if this has been done. If not, can do it without removing the crank

I think if you drop the sump/oil pan and waggle the front pulley if the thrust bearings are worn they might drop out and thus haven't been pinned. If they have already fallen out then they obviously
