I have a midget MK I 1098CG. When I start the car cold the oil pressure immeadiately starts at 60 psi. As the car heats it lowers the pressure, fully warmed up at idle the oil pressure is either just

I think your oil pressure is too low. Isn't there an oil pressure regulator on the outside of the block? Or try 20-50 oil, or be sure to use a cotton-felt filter. Don Scott (had BMC cars since 1967)
