Your results sound interesting, however I think it's important to mention that the oil protection level in your engine cannot solely be measured by oil pressure. From your description, it sounds like

I agree with Trevor, I think all you have done is thicken the oil. This the same route that I took when the engine started to go in my TR 4A. But what the heck, it looks like you are going to need a
