Thanks, John! The rotor/housing is about 3/16" longer in the "mystery" unit, and "microphone" is a great way to describe the way the pick-up looks. Anyone have a late model version they want to sell?

That sounds pretty interesting. I can picture the process I think. Can you elaborate on your cut and shut? Steve on our race engines, we make a pump and a half, by cutting and shutting.
