A nice Weaver pump is as reliable as they get. That is why there are copies of them I would think. But they are good at pumping oil, in or out. None of the oil pumps are that good at pumping air that

Rick, you are on the right track. GerRotor pumps are more efficient at producing vacuum but the draw back is they do not move "debris" very well, small items of trash will pass with a lobe or gear pu

Jon, I bought a used 12V from Gibb at Motorsports--Keith has one he might sell--also Grainger has a 12V brass pump for marine use that should work also--I assume you are using it for a TURBO sump pum
