- Also, does the adapter not use the same seal as the oil filter? Remove the filter gasket from a new, cheap, filter install it and attache the adapter to the block? Ot does it use a real oring? Boynto

- One Ford gasket that works for the Tiger adapter to engine block is I bought one in March from a Ford dealer for $1.91. It is made of thin steel coated with a thin deformable plastic so it will seal.
