- Anyone know if I should be concerned with my readings? 50F degrees today Engine temp 160 after driving a bit 25lb reading at idle 40- 60lb when reving 40-ish when crusing I don't remember it running

- Sounds exactly like what I had prior to my complete rebuild, which included a new oil pump. Completely rebuilt, it is about 35 at idle, 52 when cruising. The figures you are getting are fairly typica

- The freshly (3 years ago) rebuild engine in my BJ8 runs (when hot)--20 at idle and ~ 40 at 3000 rpms. I do not worry about it. When i start it the OP poes to 60+ until the engine is hot. tom due
