It works okay. It's a bit caustic, so you don't want to get it on anything. On fresh spots, I've had good luck with oil dry, followed by some oil spot removing stuff I got from the hardware store. Ha

I have had pretty good luck with straight 100% Simple Green. Spray on generously, scrub in with a brush, let it sit for a little while, then cover with sawdust to soak it all up. May take two applica

For an oil change spill I used the cheapest generic brand of Kitty Litter I could find. I ground it in with heavy soled shoes, let it sit and swept it up. A year later that spot is still whiter than

For fresh spills I mop up as much as I can, pour a glug of mineral spirits on what's left and agitate with a parts cleaning brush. I cover everything with kitty litter and sweep it up the next day.
