Cliff, That fitting is 1/8" NPT. Go to Home Depot (if you live in North America) and get a 1/8" NPT plug. Should be about 50 cents. Note: NPT is not a bolt thread, it is tapered to provide the seal

I seem to recall that the 70's Chevrolet Vega used an oil pressure switch that is identical to the three connector TR unit. You should be able to pick one up at a local auto parts store (NAPA, etc).

Just make sure the switch is rated to switch at the same pressure as the TR switch. They come in different pressure sensitivities. I don't know what the spec for the TR switch is, probably something

I believe that the GM switch is rated for 7 PSI. With either switch (GM or TR), if the light comes on while you are driving, its just a notification to take your wallet out! Hugh Barber Hollister, CA
