I've been loaned a light duty MIG welder to make some minor tailpipe repairs. Problem is that there is no instruction manual and the owner can't remember what the switches are for. It's labeled Handy

The controls sound just like the ones on my Daytona "Pocket MIG". Those two switches would then give you four possible power settings. I.e. Minimum + 1 Minimum + 2 Maximum + 1 Maximum + 2 I've used

Sounds like mine. I have mine out on loan and I'm not a very good welder. The 3 and 4 both seem to be a voltage control. Sorry I don't have the book handy. Phil

Sounds like my Daytona MIG. When welding upside down or on a vertical, I've found that adjusting the feed with your 'spare' hand as you weld can be invaluable to getting consistency. It is worth rigg
