15% duty cycle is not very good at all. That means just that: for every 1 minute you weld, it needs to rest 7 minutes. Granted you won't be welding at 115amps all day, but cheaper welders (and hand h

I have a Lincoln SP100, the forerunner to the current SP135 Plus. It has continuously variable voltage and is configured for gas welding. I note that it is now packaged with the gauge, etc. About $60

I've been using an Astro PowerMig 130 for the last 12 years. I've never had any problems with it, and it seems to work as well as any of the smaller Migs. The lowest price I've seen lately is $368.50
