- Fellow listers, Is the Optima Red Top Battery OK to use in the Funbeam? It's a stock (really believe me) 260 with a generator, stock regulator, and all else is stock. I can get one from Costco for $9

- It's a great battery. You'll have no problems. They crank like crazy and don't out gas at all. You can even mount them upside down. I use them in all of my cars and a boat. Craig Wright

- it would be ok but not worth the $$$$ the yellow top is a dry cell and a good buy at $150 form autozone. if you go with the red top you may as well buy a die hard.
