- Have you checked the spare? I currently have XZXs on my '77. 175R14. Are those 70 series? But the spare is a 165R14. Not Michelin, I don't remember what it is. I think that's the original for the car

- Yeah, 165R14 and 175R14 are nearly extinct in the wild. I found Vredestein Sprint 175R14s recently through the local British car specialist. 175R-14s have a tall, vintage look that works well with CB
