- I am looking at a 100-6 that does not have OD. Can anyone make an educated guess as to what the cost of parts would be? I believe I can do the installation with a little help from my friends. Ned Smi

- If the car didn't have overdrive originally, and it needs a transmission, I would go with the Toyota 5 speed conversion. I haven't heard anything from praised from those who have done the conversion,

- you would need to find a transmission with overdrive, preferably, from another 100-6 since it should have the 28% reduction ratio. the prefix on the od tag should start with 28. if it has a 22 prefi

- He is already moving off of original if the car didn't have the overdrive, and on a 100-Six its right there on the car number plate to see that it was an "O" or and "S" car Patton BN4L O 37718 -- Pat
