A definite YES on replacing this tube with no kinks. Make damn sure the shop notices the angle that the tube comes out. If not, you will have to take yours back to the shop to have it adjusted. Some

The skinny little tube you mention that's bent is supposed to have a hose leading from this to a small black tank. You didn't mention this in your post, but I assume it is there. Isn't it? Mark L.
