Check the switch on the handbrake lever. I think 76 was the only year that the handbrake also activated the dash lamp. Perhaps your handbrake switch is the reason the light is on and not the PDWA. (

If the tr6 is like gt6 the other wire goes nowhere! its just stuck up inside the covering a little way. As for the switch, its very simple. it only provides a path to ground. Just disconnect the wir

I wouldn't lose sleep over it... Doesn't the bulb only light when the switch closes and grounds the circuit? Pulling the wire off the switch ought to stop it from lighting, except when grounded thro
