Does anyone know what will remove pine tree sap from car paint? I've tried many of the normal household cleaners and nothing touches it. Thanks in advance. Mark L.

Try Charcoal Lighter (not gasoline). Its great for removing road tar too. Not as explosive as gasoline. Dave in Detroit

I've just been through this on an old car we got for the kids. It had lived under pine trees for most of a year before we got it. Much of the pine sap had hardened, and wasn't the least bit gooey. A

I once got a big blob of what I thought was pine tar on my old Porsche. I tried everything, it was barely doing anything. In desparation and running out of chemicals, I tried a little soap and water.
