Last fall I painted my new garage floor with epoxy paint. It is a bit of a pain to apply, but is tough and bonds all of that concrete dust. I would highly recommend it. Ken Landaiche

I second Gil's comment about the sand. One great benefit of painting the concrete floor is that cleanup is much easier. Adding sand makes cleaning harder and unless one really needs the slip resistan
