progresive wet sanding and buff to finish. you can go to 1200 if so desired. the biggest problem is if you do not clear coat , any metallic colors do not lend well to sanding as it reveals irregulari

I am going to shoot it Olde Eng White - and whites do not benefit from having a clear top finish as much as darker colours do. A good one stage white will look just as good as a two stage with clear.
