- You can also use peanut butter to remove masking tape adhesive. Smear it on and let it sit for a while. If you want an official product try 3M Spray On Adhesive Remover. It work quite well too! Kent

- Don't know if it would damage the plastic, but I've always used WD40 to remove tape and other adhesive residue (like illegal parking stickers). Seems to me that's all it's good for. Mike

- WD-40 is also a great non abrasive cleaner for nearly all adhesives. Lot's of housewives have it in there aresenal of cleaners to remove the sticky labels stores put on plastic items. A Heloise hint!
