I ordered a Peco exhaust system to replace the rusted one on my 1980 MGB. The header arrived, but the muffler and pipes fell out of the box during shipping. The header is a bit scratched up, so while

Paint the rest of the system too with any decent flat black paint. That red muffler just didn't look right with my BRG '65! BTW, those 1200 degree exhaust paints are for looks only, they leave a powd

I used Hycote very high temperature paint (650/1200) but the red colour changed to a pale biscuit on all but the head flanges in very short order. They didn't rust, though so presumably there was sti
