- Trying to install a Peco header on a 79 MGB. Won't go in from the top. Doesn't seem to want to go in from the bottom either. Any secrets here? Larry Daniels 79 MGB LE 72 Midget 60 Bugeye 67 Austin A6

- Even on my '73 BGT I had to lift the motor off it's mount about 1-1.5" to drop it down into place. But fully mounted there are no clearance issues. I've have the complete 'big bore' system on my year

- That's what I was afraid of. Either lift the motor a bit or remove the steering column -- or both. Did you end up dropping it in or lifting it up from the bottom? LD Even on my '73 BGT I had to lift
