I don't believe any Big Healeys used a ballasted ignition system (I know the BN2s and BJ8s don't, and I don't see any resistor listed in the Moss catalog for any 100-6 or 3000). If you had a ballast

Bob's email is right on. I have the same set up both in my BJ8 and BN1. Still using the old stock coil in the BN1. It's good enough. No healey uses a ballasted system. Pertronix all the way!! Cheers,

Hi Scott, The Moss 143-265 "Is" the Pertronix 40511 Flamethrower & will work. You don't need a rev limiter unless you are continually reving the engine to valve float, which I doubt. When you hook up
