In the annals (maybe too many n's) of catalog-dom the cylinder you show was listed briefly as fitting MGAs 55-59. The catalogs no longer make a distinction and offer only the "later" one. I "happen"

None of my MGAs (numerous ones over the years, from '57s to '62s) have ever had this particular slave cylinder, but it is depicted in the 1500 Parts Manual. However, it was only fitted to the early
