I'd like to clean the threads for the spark plugs in my cylinder head. Does anyone know what size of tap I need? 14mm? 18mm? Jasmine, my '69 BGT, has amassed a pretty impressive dead leaf collection

Actually, Larry, just getting the heater *core* out is relatively painless; you just undo the hoses, remove the fan motor, and take the front cover off. This will enable you to get a vacuum in there

Some clean spark plug holes with an old sparkplug. Using a triangular file, cut a notch from the sparking end up the threads to the top of the threads. The edge of the file's cut will act as the tap
