Can't really tell if they fixed it, as I played around with the mixture and made a thourough balls-up of things. Would the N12 plugs likely be responsible for the dieseling if they're that hot? Got

My 948 has some ping upon light acceleration in high gear.. I tried advancing spark...got worse....retarded it and still has a little. During recent tune-up I changed plugs to platinum Bosch...deeper

Retard the timing until the pinging stops. Are your new plugs the same heat range as the old? How do the plugs look? Check the plugs - your carbs may be set too lean. Rick
