- When I had points I had the same problem as the dwell was not in spec when I set the points to the correct gap. I read that dwell was more important than the gap and you should go for the correct dw

- Gapping plugs is very easy. Buy the $4.00 tool when you buy the plugs. On the NOWROC site under the FAQ section there is info on the type of plugs and the gap suggested. http://www.nowroc.com/Webpage

- Or you can pull the supply wire from the clip on the distributor (that has a lead wire to the ignition points). I can't remember if it was Calspeed or someone else, used some substitute for a gauge.
