Hey guys Is there such a thing as an airpowered pop riveter? Even better would be a cheap one as it would get only very moderate use. My hand pop riveter just self destructed. Those BIG steel rivets

Of course... check out anyone who sells tools for aircraft construction. We always referred to them as "cherry" rivets. I suspect that would be a vender name.

I own a couple of air powered units. They are the only way to go if you're doing any volume of rivets. Different type of rivets (steel, etc.) and sizes all have different requirements for 'strength'

Yes there is such a thing.Sears,J.C.Whitney and Northern hydralics all carry them and probably Harbour freight also. They are popular with the racing crowd who need to rivet a lot sheet metal. From

Woah - slow down a minute - if you want a good joint you must keep the riveter head in firm contact with the rivet and the rivet with the top surface being joined. Things to watch for a good rivetted
