I also noticed a date and warning on a portable tank I bought a few years ago. Makes me nervous looking at my shop air compressor with a manufacturing date on the tank of 1953!

Thanks for the warning on the Sears air tanks. Ran out and found it under the leg as suggested--6/20/03. So to cover my backside, I wrote in large letters on the side the warning to dispose on 6/20/1
