What about putting it back on? I have heard that it can be a real hassle unless the engine is out and you crouch down inside the engine compartment while the car is a bit lifted off the ground? Kirk

On or off use the towels as mentioned by John. I've had mine on and off 3 times in the past year all by me self. Getting the right alignment on reinstallation is the hairy part when you are alone but

I sort of do it backwards. I open the bonnet and loosen all four bolts. I then almost close the bonnet and pull it up in the back. I then can get wrench under the back end of the bonnet and take out
