I'm not certain but it may be a caveat of Lucas electrics that everything cannot be operable at the same time. I believe that Lucas electric is the third definition in the dictionary under intermitte

Go to the spare part shop and get a lot of bullet connector receptacles. Also check for loose soldering on the bullet connectors. The signal wiring goes often via the hazard switch - unit check there

The fuel pump shares a common ground. If you disconect things in the same path it won't work. If you think it is the ground then slide under the car and attach an alligator clip and wire to the pump

Thanks Art; I got my fuel pump and most of the rear straightened out. I just gotta figure out the park lamps. I am convinced its the switch, I tried them last night and with the key off the ignition
