- Mike: You would lean the carbs as you increased in altitude. Less air needs less gas. Carbs in airplanes have a leaning device controlled from the cockpit for just this case. Geoff Branch '74 Meejit

- I have seen that also, but there are a lot of repairs and fixes being done to these cars that would have never been thought of in the 60s. I thought maybe someone was re-bushing pressed steel rocker
