I think you are right about the primer colour being a yellowy green. I've seen the same colour in obscure places under the undercoating on the floors, in the wheel arches, etc. I don't know what year

I think you are right Fred. It sounds like zinc chromate to me. This is an excellent primer used extensively in the marine industry and especially on aluminum. Regards, Mark in MS

I concur! It must be zinc chromate. I've used the stuff plenty of times in the military (U.S. Coast Guard). It stands up great in salt water. I've seen zinc chromate in two different colours...pea gr
