its cheaper to do a data acq. and have an output that warns you when one of the values is out of whack plus you can look at data for the whole run instead of guessing what is was when you werent look

We use this technology in our shop. Raytek makes a good unit, but to get one that measures 1100 degrees F. or more is pricey. Up to 1100 deg.=$269.99, to 1400 deg. = $369.99 and to 1500 deg = $699.9
