Leave it on the frame! This is your welding jig. If you don't you will NEVER get the bolts to line up. If you aren't familiar with welding I would recommend that you have someone weld that knows what

I wouldn't risk replacing them off the chassis if it were me. Mine were replaced professionally and they cut the floor right back to the transmission tunnel then butt welded the new floor in. I took
