- there is a remote chance the fuse failed all by itself at that given moment. usually the smoke comes out of the wire simultaneously with the fuse blowing! if you cannot find the source of short that

- I went out to check the signal and brake lights. Nothing. I pressed the hazard switch, it was stuck, it finally broke loose. I still have nothing, but I bet the stiffness in the switch was not caused
