I just checked the Speedvision schedule on Time Warner Cable TV here in Los Angeles. The SCAA Runoffs go all day today (they're on right now). At 4-5 PM (P.S.T.) this afternoon they list the runoffs

Yes, Tom Patton is in the GT2 race. I won't reveal the results, though. You'll have to tune in... Barry S. was not there though. My only beef with SpeedChannel is the number and frequency of commerci

Be sure and watch the GT-2 race. Very good coverage of Tom and his so-called antique doing so well against the latest German and Japanese technology. It was also on Speedvision last month. Larry

Thanks for the "Heads up". As I read it, I did the math for east coast time, and realized it was on RIGHT NOW. I just missed the first few minutes. They did have some nice things to say about the ant

The announcers didn't mention it, but after Tom's dominant win in '99, SCCA not only added weight to the car, they also made him run a restrictor plate (just like NASCAR). This knocked off about 40 h

Lets not forget that, in spite of SCCA trying desperately to get Tom out of GT-2, Tom is a great driver. The Germans or Japs would do well getting him to drive one of their cars. It is really hard to

Judging from the recently posted picture of Tom's car, that's because it is "an all out race car with a stock looking body". Bob Palmer rpalmer@ucsd.edu rpalmer@brobeck.com rpalmerbob@adelphia.net -

John & Everyone: I've always thought that a properly set up Tiger can run with anything, and Tom, and other Tigers, have proven it in the past. Watching that race, I couldn't figure out those lap tim

True it is a all out race car. Keep in mind that Tom took a stock Tiger and continued to make modifications as the rules would allow. It is not a ground up build of a new race car. What I meant by "

I bet if you went to the Tiger list archives you would find a number of postings by Barry Shoenberger regarding SCCA and Tom's Tiger. Barry came to Seattle two years back and we held a special Pacif
