I want to add an easier way to drain the crossflow type radiator in the 71 Midget while I have it out. Would the best placement for the petcock be in the crossover pipe or left corner of Radiator. If

The earlier cross flow cross over pipes had a drain plug in the center. It worked fine. Later they eliminated it to save a buck. Drill out the cross over pipe and thread it with a 1/8 pipe thread. In
