I am cleaning up my radiator before reinstalling it in my BJ8. It took me about two hours to straighten the fins on both sides. I just noticed that a heat sensor is screwed into the bottom of the top

I believe the 100s had the heat sender in the tank. I'm working from (suspect) memory, but I believe the tank on the radiator on our 100 is a slightly different shape ... more rounded than the 6-cyl

You have a radiator from an early Longbridge BN4. That series had the temp. sending bulb screwed into the header tank as you describe, but otherwise is basically the same design as the BJ8 unit. Ric
