I would guess that if the car or axle was bent, both wheels would wear. I would look first to those things specific to that side. The axle can shift on the springs, but then it would drive sideways,

Interestingly, when I grabbed each rear wheel and tried to rock it, the wheel on the right (where there IS wear) is solid as a rock. No clicks, not play, no movement. The wheel on the left, where the
