From memory of about 25 years ago, I heard that you just switch the left and right spring plates and use a set of Chevy pick up truck shox cirrca 1970. I never tried this myself. -- Frank Clarici Tom

I have a set of Spax gas shocks for the later cars and the shock has a compressed length of 10" and an extended length of 15". That should help you narrow it down. At one time Koni made rear shocks

There would seem to be three ways of fitting rear shocks 1. to a bracket that bolts in the position of the lever shock, so that the tubular shock slopes forwards at about 60 degrees. I think this is

Thanks Cap'n, Although if yours mount to the original shock mounts they cannot be "vertical" They must be inclined forwards at the top at about 60 degrees Guy
