I am going to have to disagree with the shock thing, all four of my shocks are worn out on my '71 and even in autocrossing the tires never chirp. Check rear cylinders and conditions of the drums. Jam

I had this exact problem with my 71BGT and it wasn't caused by bad shocks or leaky cylinders. It was either in the wheel cylinder or the master cylinder. It was maybe 12-14 years ago when it happened

Hello Scott. I might say that maybe the other side is not working. I would pull both rear drums off and take a look. Also these car do not an anti locking system. Whereas the back brake a more likely
