It never occurred to me that they'd retract THAT way! I had a mental image of them rotating down into the bonnet with a flat cover matching the surrounding bodywork, like on most cars that have 'em.

If any still exist, I would think that the mechanism for an early 70's Opel GT would work better. They were manually operated and rotated the lights into place. When closed they are just a flush meta
