I put a 6-foot length of pipe over the end of the breaker bar, wedged the crank with a long 2x4 inside the engine, stood on the end of the 2x4 and pulled on the pipe. Came loose fast. chuck

Soaked it in penetrant, then hit it with an air wrench. Won a six of Bass Ale from the guy I'm doing the engine with who never thought that would do it (the nut just sneered at my breaker bar!). Good

Don't worry, I had EXACTLY the same problem a few months ago when stripping an engine I had had sitting around for a few years. Here are some suggestions: 1. Soak it in penetrating oils and potions.
