I can't imagine any organic paint solvent that would attack chrome. Is there any spot that you could try it on (inside the bumper) to see? I 'd= try the meanest stripeze I could find. Regards, Jim B9

This may sound obvious, but have you tried chrome cleaner? That pinkish stuff sold at most auto parts stores. I use it all the time and with some elbow grease it does a pretty good job removing all
