I have tried the stipper wheels. Your right, wear goggles but it also tends to heat up and smear the material. I tried Bob Howard's suggestion of kerosene and it works quite well. Just let it sit fo

When I use the stripper wheels I try to keep it moving and use light pressure so it won't heat the undercoat too much. When the bulk of the schmegma is removed I switch to kerosene for clean up. It
