- I've got an early '64 Midget that I'm just beginning to work on, and the interior and a small part of the top are covered with white overspray. I bought it from a guy who was painting the car in 1976

- Lacquer thinner will probably remove the overspray, but at the very least it will leave the vinyl dull. At worst, it will really do a job on it. Try the thinner in a hidden area to see what it does.

- makes a product called Ditzol? a cleaner, sovent, that I use all the time to remove over spray, even on paint. I don't know if it will work on 20 year old overspray. Mike

- Try (in no particular order); laquer thinner, #0000 steel wool, pencil eraser, soap w/a toothbrush, etc. Try the eraser first, when it works, it really works well. Sounds like you got a great deal, h
