I did this to reduce tyre-rub on the rear arches following a conversion from Rostyles to wires - it was successful. While I was at it I changed the front springs as well. A beneficial side-effect was

the only difference in the springs is they are stiffer to carry the RUBBER BUMPERS. the hight difference is in the mounting brackets. Steve Darby
