- Well, the rolling restoration of my 72 GT continues! First the question: How do you get to the clips which hold on the rubber which seals agains the door glass? I assume that I need to take the glass

- glass? I assume that I need to take the glass out of the door, as when I roll the glass all the way down, it is not low enough to clear. Has anyone replaced this < rubber? How'd you do it? BINGO! Yo

- Should prevent ANY padding from .....snip..... I'm no expert Dave, but I was with you right up to this point. I've NEVER seen plastic do as a good a job keeping water out as it does keeping moisture

- Doh! You have quite the point there. I was remembering back to when I bought the car, and it had many leaks. These leaks soaked the carpet, and thus it was the carpet which was holding the water next
