As a preventative measure, I'd like to replace the upper chain on my U-20. CAVEAT: Piecemeal replacement is of course NOT the proper way to do things, but at the $$$$$ to 'do it right', options have

If the gears aren't too badly worn, it should be okay, I would think. Unfortunately the stock chains don't have a master link. If your chain DOES have one, then it is an aftermarket chain. Gordon Gla

John; I just took a look at my old chain and upper sprocket (which should wear much more than the bottom one because of the much smaller number of teeth), and when I squeeze the chain around the spro
